Thank you to our 2007 CFC Contributors.

To help us improve our fundraising efforts, please take a few minutes to complete our 2007 Contributor Survey.

Thank you for your commitment to End Violence Against Women (EVAW) International. Your contribution supports our ability to improve the criminal justice response to violence against women.  In addition, your donation helps improve services for victims and hold offenders accountable.  We consider every dollar contributed to be important and every donor to be the reason we are able to continue our vital work.

Since its inception in 2003, EVAW International has provided training for almost 4,000 professionals, including police officers, forensic nurses, advocates and other first responders.  This training has been provided at 15 live conferences and through the On-Line Training Institute (OLTI) we launched in 2007.

Attached you will find testimonials from survivors and our training participants.  These testimonials are just a small sampling of the difference that we have made and will continue to make with your donation.

EVAW International has been approved to participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), the U.S. Federal government's workplace giving program. If you are a government employee you may donate to us through the 2008 Combined Federal Campaign.
Our CFC number is 11400.

EVAW International is also a member of the Women, Children and Family Service Charities of America (WCFS) - a nonprofit federation that pre-screens high quality national charities that are constructively addressing gender based discrimination, domestic violence, reproductive choices, family-work conflicts, caregiver support, and childhood education, hunger and health.

The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to the members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. These standards include those required by the US Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal.
